For more than a decade, Zachary Plottel has owned and managed a variety of businesses in the real estate industries. At present, Mr. Plottel oversees daily operations at the law firm of Harris & Plottel, LLP. As Director of Operations at the law firm, he supervises areas such as legal administration, marketing, human resources, training, and risk management, among others. Besides his role at Harris & Plottel, LLP, Mr. Plottel oversees Plottel Property Management, which he founded in 2001. The company manages residential and business structures, develops ways to use historical houses and buildings, and constructs eco-friendly establishments. Zachary Plottel also handles projects for Scardina Builders. In addition to these roles, Zachary Plottel also administers public safety, emergency medical, and fire services.

 

Drawing on 15 years of experience in the field, Mr. Plottel works for the City of Chico Fire Department, where he functions as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) and Fire Apparatus Engineer. At the City of Chico Fire Department, Zachary Plottel holds responsibility for handling fire apparatus during various operations. Over the years, Zachary Plottel has collaborated with teams equipped to deal with medical emergencies, structure and wild land fires, rescues, hazardous materials incidents, and vehicle extractions. Previously, he served as a Fire Apparatus Engineer at the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (CAL FIRE) for four years.

 

A member of the Alzheimer’s Association and the Willows & Chico Chamber of Commerce, he resides in Chico, California. He received a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and Spanish from California State University, Chico. Previously, he earned an Associate of Science in Fire Science and an Associate of Arts in Social and Behavioral Science from Butte College.
