After earning his J.D. from Boston College Law School, William Tucker immediately began his career, serving as a Prosecutor for the San Diego Office of the City Attorney. Two years later, William Tucker joined the San Diego firm of Sullivan & Jones, a business litigation firm with an emphasis in antitrust matters, as an associate, and in 1980 became a partner in that firm. In 1983, William Tucker helped establish Page, Tucker, Brooks & Busch, and in 1992 founded the Law Office of William J. Tucker. Subsequently, William Tucker served as Partner at Kaye Rose & Partners, LLP, then in his own practice, the Law Office of William J. Tucker. Currently, he is Of Counsel at the Law Offices of Andrew B. Kaplan in San Diego.

 

Drawing on his extensive experience, William Tucker represents clients involved in a variety of legal disputes, including cases involving claims of environmental contamination, unfair competition, trade libel, copyright and service mark infringement, unfair competition, breach of fiduciary duty, fraud, breach of contract and negligence . Appointed a Judge Pro Tem and Referee of the San Diego Superior Court, William Tucker has tried over 175 cases in civil court and in arbitrations, yet is a firm advocate of alternative dispute resolution, who has settled many cases for his clients through the mediation process. With numerous other professional ties, William Tucker has spent 25 as an Arbitrator for the American Arbitration Association (AAA), and as a Mediator for the AAA and NCRC.
