Will Atkinson is a professional football player who was born on October 14, 1988 in Beverley, England.

Popularly known as “Will” in the football world, Will Atkinson kicked off his professional football career by joining the Hull City youth football club, based in Kingston upon Hull, East Riding of Yorkshire. Will Atkinson improved his football skills and was graduated to the senior team of the Hull City football club in 2006.


In 2007, he was sent on loan and spent a brief period at the Port Vale club of Football League (League One), based in Burslem, Staffordshire. In October 2007, this left-sided midfielder made his debut appearance for the club as a senior team player. After his stint with the Port Vale football club, Will Atkinson returned to Hull City and was given the jersey number 31. In January 2008, he made his debut appearance for the Hull City team by coming in as a substitute in the third round of the Football Association (FA) Cup tie against the Plymouth Argyle club. Will Atkinson was sent on loan to the Mansfield Town football club (League Two), based in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire for a period of two months. As of 2008, he has represented the stags in 12 matches.
