Now that Westerly RI was on the map, so to speak, there was no turning back. Our town had been discovered by a huge number of new visitors and most of them loved what they found when they came here.

What many of these new visitors didn’t know is that Westerly RI had been known to many people for many years. These people had been quietly coming to visit Westerly every summer for years and maybe even for decades.

Why? Because of our great beaches! Westerly is home to Misquamicut State Beach, one of the state’s top beaches and summer destinations for people visiting here from other states.

In addition to great beaches, Westerly has a small town ambience. Even in spite of the high growth over the past 10 years, it still has a small town feel and it’s still a great place to live, overall.

With the recent slowdown in the housing industry and the economic downturn across the country, real estate prices have finally dropped enough to start making homes affordable to by again for most people.

The combination of ultra-low interest rates and a drop in housing prices has caused more people to be searching for Westerly RI homes for sale. And the good news is that we have them!
