Wayne Macfadden - Professional Summary:    Psychiatrist Dr. Wayne Macfadden is a member of numerous professional organizations in his field. He is a Diplomate for the National Board of Medical Examiners, The American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, with Added Qualifications in Addiction Psychiatry, Dr. Wayne Macfadden has also been accepted into the College of Physicians in Philadelphia and The American College of Psychiatrists. 

Earning his Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science from the City College of New York, Dr. Wayne Macfadden attended the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences for his medical degree. Dr. Macfadden completed a residency in psychiatry at the University of Pennsylvania and an intership in internal medicine at Millard Fillmore Hospital in Buffalo. He has contributed to studies as a Principal Investigator in clinical trials for the Princeton Medical Institute and was also an Attending Psychiatrist for the University Medical Center at Princeton. 

With almost two dozen publications to his name, Dr. Wayne Macfadden has joined other respected psychiatrists in various research efforts. He has published articles in several peer reviewed journals, including International Clinical Psychopharmacology, Journal of Clinical Psychopharmacology, Journal of Medical Economics, and the American Journal of Psychiatry. He submitted several articles for the journal Bipolar Disorders, and is also a reviewer for that publication. In addition, Dr. Wayne Macfadden contributed to Psychiatric Annals and to the 6th and 7th Editions of Comprehensive Textbook of Psychiatry.
