University of Massachusetts alumnus Wayne Dodwell graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology. After completing his undergraduate education, Wayne Dodwell obtained a Master of Health Administration.
Since then, Wayne Dodwell has cultivated a diverse and successful career in hospital administration, serving in high-level positions throughout Ohio, Massachusetts, and Maine. Wayne Dodwell served in supervisory and executive-level roles at numerous hospitals, including Mt. Sinai Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio, North Shore Medical Center in Salem, Massachusetts, Brockton Hospital in Brockton, Massachusetts, and Lahey Clinic in Burlington, Massachusetts.
Wayne Dodwell most recently acted as President and CEO of the Down East Health System in Machias, Maine. In this position, Wayne Dodwell oversaw the administrative staff with a $34 million annual operating budget. Wayne Dodwell utilized his expertise in strategic planning to increase net revenue by 71 percent and earn top quartile rankings on Press Ganey patient satisfaction surveys. Wayne Dodwell led the Down East Health System in process improvement to gain Joint Commission accreditation in 2004 and 2007.
Outside of his responsibilities with Dodwell @ Associates, Wayne Dodwell is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives, and has been in this role for more than a decade.
