Wayne Brown is a professional football player who was born on August 20, 1977 in Barking, England.
In 1995, Wayne Brown began his professional football career as a defender with English professional football club, Ipswich Town. A couple of years later, he was sent on loan to Colchester United and has appeared twice for the club. In 2001, he moved to Queens Park Rangers on loan, but soon moved to Wimbledon. At this club, Wayne Brown made a total of seventeen appearances, which includes a game where he scored once. During the 2001-02 season, he was sent on a brief loan spell to Watford. He played eleven games for the club and also scored three goals before returning back to Ipswich Town.
With this impressive performance at this club Wayne Brown extended his tenure by signing a new contract with Watford in 2002. In the following year, he was sent as a loan player to Gillingham, and he has appeared in four games for the club and scored once.
During the 2003-04 season, Wayne Brown spent a brief loan spell at Colchester United and played in 16 games for this club. Following this successful season, he joined the club in the summer of 2004. At Colchester United, he spent three seasons and played in 124 games for this club, scoring four goals. Wayne Brown was voted as the Colchester United's Player of the Season for 2005-06. He had a spectacular 2006-07 season at this club as he played in every minute of every match in the club’s Championship campaign.
In July 2007, Wayne Brown signed a three-year contract with Hull City that was worth £450,000. Wayne Brown became the 900th player to make his debut for this club in league and cup matches. One of his memorable moments in his football career was his goal in the 3-1 win against his former club Ipswich Town in September. As of 2008, he has made a total of 41 appearances for this club.
