About Warren Lasch

Entrepreneur Warren Lasch has made significant contributions to the transport industry over the past 17 years. The Vice-Chairman and recently retired President of Precision Motor Transport Group, LLC, Warren Lasch has developed some of the most cutting-edge transportation methods for vehicles available on the market today. Through Precision Motor Transport Group, Warren Lasch established two subsidiaries, Bavarian Motor Transport and Tri-Star Transport. The companies, which serve BMW and Mercedes-Benz respectively, offer completely enclosed carriers, experienced drivers, and professional service. A considerable asset to his company, Warren Lasch was instrumental in the development of enclosed vehicle deliveries and contract and specialized motor carriers. Additionally, Warren Lasch played a key role in advancing truck safety activities at state and national levels. Under Warren Lasch's deft management, revenue for Precision Motor Transport Group increased from $3.2 million to $70.2 million within 16 years of operation. Outside of his work in transportation, Warren Lasch was actively involved in the raising of the H. L. Hunley, the first submarine to sink an enemy ship in combat. Warren Lasch served as the Chairman of the Board of Directors for The Friends of the Hunley and managed the coordination of the raising, restoring, and preserving of the Hunley. His outstanding work with the Hunley project led to Warren Lasch receiving the highest civilian award offered by South Carolina: the Order of the Palmetto. Warren Lasch was also a recipient of the Christopher Gadsden Award from the Maritime Association of the Port of Charleston, the Legacy Award from the Civil War Preservation Trust, the Virginius Dabney Award from the Museum of the Confederacy, the APPL Award from the National Park Service, and the Horace L. Hunley Award from the Sons of Confederate Veterans. Additionally, Lasch received an honorary Doctorate in Business Administration from The Citadel. A resident of Charleston, South Carolina, Mr. Warren Lasch enjoys playing golf, traveling, and reading in his spare time.
