About Walter Bellin
Walter Bellin - Professional Summary:
For decades, individuals and organisations in pursuit of holistic and transformational changes have turned to Corporate Crossroads CEO and Chairman Walter Bellin. In the late 1960s, Mr. Bellin developed an interest in various meditation techniques and an emerging field called human potential psychology. By combining these elements to construct techniques that promote change, Walter Bellin created a number of personal development workshops. He designed these workshops to expand and reinforce natural strengths and raise awareness levels while eradicating the self-defeating mental, emotional, and behavioral patterns that limit personal effectiveness and fulfillment in life. This led to the creation of a personal development organisation with permanent administrative and training centers in 1980. After a few short years, thousands of people had attended Mr. Bellin's various programs. Later, Walter Bellin expanded his original concept to a range of specifically focused courses and workshops covering topics such as achieving higher-quality relationships, improved communication and listening techniques, and ways to unleash creative thinking.
Walter Bellin expanded his business in 1986 to facilitate the transformation of collective behaviors and attitudes across large organisations. Over the next several years, Mr. Bellin developed and designed a successful program to create organisational culture change. To date, he has held leadership development and culture-building workshops for tens of thousands of individuals and hundreds of organisations across the globe. As an American and Australian citizen, Walter Bellin has consulted for numerous government entities in the public sector, including the Department of Defence and the Australian Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations. Walter Bellin's private sector clients have included Citibank, CIC Insurance, Toshiba, Microsoft, KeyCorp, and McDonald's.
Walter Bellin graduated magna cum laude from the University of Minnesota with a BA in Philosophy. Originally intent on earning a PhD, he withdrew from his graduate courses to become a leading consultant of organisational change. When not working with various national and international institutions to improve their leadership and the working of their organisational cultures, Mr. Bellin enjoys watching foreign films, exercising, and reading. Walter Bellin counts The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People and The 8th Habit: From Effectiveness to Greatness by Stephen Covey among his favorite books. Mr. Bellin will finish writing a book on leadership in early 2012. He has also developed a psychological instrument for personal use that can be directly accessed online at www.vitallyme.com.
