Over nearly 30 years, Wallace Lee Walker, DDS, has built a career in private practice dentistry. After completing his undergraduate education through the University of Michigan and graduating from the institution?s School of Dentistry with his Doctor of Dental Surgery in 1981, he gained experience in Southfield, Michigan, while working at Professional Dental Center. At the same time, Dr. Walker worked as an Associate under another dentist. In 1982, however, he steered his career toward private practice and opened Gentle Touch Dental Center, where he operated as owner and primary dentist until 2006. After Gentle Touch closed, Dr. Walker followed it by starting several more dental offices, including Renaissance Dental P.C. and Gratiot Dental Center P.C.
Dr. Wallace Lee Walker presently operates Park Dental Service along with Dr. Eric Smith in Detroit, Michigan. Through his practice, he provides numerous dental procedures including extractions, root canals, restorative dental work, sleep apnea treatment, and more. He also performs certain types of periodontics and gum surgery, oral surgery, crown and bridge work, and prosthodontics such as dentures. In addition to medically necessary dental work, Dr. Walker performs many cosmetic dental procedures, including dental implants, lumineers and veneers, snap on smile, and orthodontics.
Over many years, Dr. Wallace Lee Walker has completed numerous continuing education courses on a wide range of dental topics, amassing more than 100 hours of continuing education on the subject of oral implants alone. He has also attended courses in administrative dental work including billing, management, and medical-dental legal work.
