About Vivek Kesaree
An experienced and highly skilled sales and business development professional, Vivek Kesaree serves as Global Account Manager at Meraki Inc., a wireless networking firm based in San Francisco, California. Mr. Kesaree attended the University of Texas at Austin, where he studied finance and international marketing and earned his Bachelor of Business Administration. After completing his undergraduate education, Vivek Kesaree, after living in Denmark, he relocated to California and accepted a position as Business Development Manager with i2 Technologies (purchased by JDA Software Group in 2010) in San Francisco. Mr. Kesaree maintained beneficial relationships with a number of the supply chain management software firm’s technology partners, successfully managed several high-profile accounts in 5 states, and exceeded a company quota of $1.25 million by 128 percent. Vivek Kesaree eventually parted ways with i2 Technologies to pursue career opportunities with the MEI Wireless Division of Mars, Inc. As National Accounts Executive, he surpassed his $1.5 million quota within 9 months of joining the company. He also delivered presentations to convey value propositions of investing in business intelligence, wireless technology, demand forecasting, and supplier collaboration projects and worked to procure and promote new client companies and distributors in the United States, Canada, and Mexico. Eventually, Mr. Kesaree joined Cantaloupe Systems, Inc., where he acted as Director of Sales and secured $5 million in Series A funding with a wireless M2M based sales roadmap and business plan. Vivek Kesaree remained with Cantaloupe Systems, greatly contributing to the company’s rapid growth, until he assumed his current role with Meraki, a Google backed venture. In his limited free time, Vivek Kesaree enjoys surfing, scuba diving, sailing and hiking in the Northern California mountains. An accomplished world traveler, Mr. Kesaree has backpacked in more than 35 countries, including Fiji, France, China, Belgium, Indonesia, India, and Norway. He also volunteers with a number of worthy organizations and programs, such as the San Francisco Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals and Oakland Public Library’s Temescal Tool Lending Library.
