Veronica Peirce - Professional Summary:    

 

My professional vocation is as a Retirement Life Coach.  I want to help others improve themselves and/or their lifestyles.  Entering Retirement part of your life is not just a few years anymore.  With our improving health and fitter lifestyles, living to the age of 80 and 90 is becoming common places.  On average that is at least another 20 years - much longer than many people have spent in one occupation these days. 

 

My aim is to coach people so that this time can be improved.  My clients will design exactly what they want in their future lives and how they want to do this.

 

 

Veronica Peirce - Professional Experience:    

 

I  have a varied background in many office and accounting skills. Whilst in my 20's I worked in Canada and specialised in the legal field - running a specialised department looking after the corporate records of over 1,500 companies.

Over the past 20 years I have mainly specialised in Finance and worked as a Management Accountant for small to medium sized businesses. I love the moment when all the balances agree. It's like getting a gold star at school.

Because of my varied skills I have also worked as an Office Manager, BBC Club Manager, Auditing and Designing Office Procedures and a College IT Instructor.

As I have slightly matured over the years (now being 62) my attitudes about work has changed considerably. Ethics, integrity and the purpose behind my work have become important. Although I love attention to detail which is required in accounts, I also love working with people.

This has lead to a direction in Career Change. I now wish to work with people, helping them improve themselves and or their lifestyles.

 

Veronica Peirce - Education:    

 

 Basic Grammar School education with panama hats for the summer and velour hats for the winter at a girl's only school - great fun!!!  Result 7 O level GCEs and a year at Business College also learning typing and shorthand.

After specialising in Legal secretarial work and spending time at home raising two boys, I studied Accountancy via correspondence course.  I gained a Part I Accountancy Qualification and 2 A level GCEs and another O level GCE.

 

Through work there has been a variety of courses and qualifications regarding Internal Audits, First Aid, HSE regulations and software packages.

 

Through personal motivation I have also attend a variety of Self-Development Courses,  plus Life Coaching and Neuro Linguistic Courses.

 

Veronica Peirce - Interests:    

 

Live entertainment, theatre, reading, walking and living by the sea. 

 

Growth Within Yourself

This is my latest venture.  I have been inspired to write about the personal development within.  I have started by creating a blog page on www.growwithinyourself.com .  I've started this mid-December 08 - it is my intention for this to grow into a book or seminar.  What this space!!!
