About Vanessa Hodge
Working in a male dominated industry has given me some extra challenges and a few obstacles to work around – but hey life would be boring otherwise, well that was part of my decision for opting to take a four year full time course in refrigeration and air conditioning when I left school – “I didn’t want a boring career”, and to date it hasn’t been.
It was challenging to be the only girl in the class after just a couple of months, but it taught me that if you want something its worth sticking at it and fighting for it, whatever it might be!
Having worked in design, contracting, project management, product management, business development and marketing in the refrigeration and air conditioning industry for many years, I set up an air conditioning wholesaling business with two partners in 1999 which gave me a wealth of experience, both good and bad, in running your own business.
So being a glutton for punishment or someone who loves a challenge depending on your view point, I decided to put all these valuable years of experience into a new venture namely Image Connect. The aim of Image Connect is to connect you with your customers via various media; Image Connect can design & build web sites and provide marketing communications and business support to small and medium size businesses and new start up businesses.

Image Connect has been launched to help and assist small businesses to connect with their customers.
There are lots of tasks involved with running a business and as a small business owner you cannot possibly be good at all of them. So Image Connect are here to help you connect with your customer and grow your business. Image Connect can design and build your website, design marketing materials, perhaps a newsletter to promote a new product or service to your customers or may be a press release about a new contract you have just won, success breeds success, so remember to shout about it.
Image Connect can help you with a wide variety of tasks that you do not have the time or skills to successfully carry out, leaving you the time to do the things you are good at.
