About Umar Farooque
Assalamo Alaikum Wa Rahmatullahe Wa Barakatuhu
I am Umar Farooque Salafi , currently a 3rd year Undergraduate Student of Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur . India.
My hometown is Maunath Bhanjan near Azamgarh . I started my studies from a local Islamic School (Madarsa) named Jamia Asaria Darul Hadees and from class 5th to class 10 , I read in Talimuddin Inter College , Mau. After 10th class , I changed the college & came to D.A.V Inter College , Mau where I passed my intermediate examination in 2004.
When I passed my intermediate exam , I did not know or even heard about IIT-JEE so as the trend was there , I also came to AMU , Aligarh for B.Sc . There I meet to some educated people and a proper guidance from Er.Abu Aamir who knew what should be right path for me in future study. They all told me about IIT-JEE & from a lot of mercy of God I went in Kanour for IIT-JEE coaching . Since in first year neither I knew much about these things nor there were someone for my guidance so in first year ons preparation I could not do any thing special in competitions but one thing I notice that what is difference between these two cities Mau & Kanpur .
In July 2005 I came in Kanpur again and try my best to learn things . Alhumdulillah when result of IIT-JEE’06 was announced , I got selection & now in 3rd year in Mechanical Engineering Department and enjoying my life in IIT Kanpur in IITians style!!
My Allah give me a right path to follow The Holy Quran & The Hadeeths and a good mind to understand these things grant me a bright & healthy career.
IN future Insha Allah I will settle in USA of in Saudi Arabia after I complete my study.
