About Tyrone Nabbie
Tyrone Nabbie - Professional Summary:
A successful entrepreneur and restaurateur, Tyrone Nabbie has taken on number of different ventures in the hospitality and food service industry. With 27 years of managerial experience, Tyrone Nabbie has worked on a number of projects that prepared him for the challenges of operating his own companies. Holding executive positions with Carnival Cruise Linesâ Riviera Towers and Crystal Palace Resort and Casino in Nassau, the Bahamas, taught him the ins and outs of large-scale food service. He trained management teams and implemented cost-control measures, and helped the company grow its client base through innovative marketing techniques.
In 1993, Tyrone Nabbie accepted the role of General Manager and joint venture partner for the Fine Host Corporation of Orlando, Florida, where he oversaw operations at the Orange County Convention Center (OCCC). A year later, he became Managing Partner of Orange County Food Service Partners, doing business as Levy Restaurants, which had been awarded the OCCC concession contract. In this position, Tyrone Nabbie assisting in developing the expansion plans that directly affected the operations of the company. He was also responsible for the conception and implementation of the concession and catering plans.
Tyrone Nabbie began his entrepreneurial career in 1997, as President of Superior Hospitality Management, LLC. This company handles a number of ventures, including providing food services to government facilities such as the Orange County Corrections Department, and all of the juvenile detention facilities, rehabilitative centers, and Veterans Affairs hospitals in the state of Florida. Tyrone Nabbie has taken on several more ventures over the years, including MCO Enterprises, L.C., which operates the Coco Oasis Bar & Lounge in the Orlando International Airport; Outback Steakhouse Nassau; and Preferred Choice Restaurants in Orlando, Florida. Mr. Nabbieâs most recent business venture is LPI Concessions, Ltd, the owner and operator of Kafe Kalik and Bahama Dutch Oven in the Lynden Pindling International Airport in Nassau, the Bahamas.
