About Turning Winds Academic Institute, Montana
Turning Winds Academic Institute was founded to build a better world through educating and assisting adolescents affected by a wide range of negative behaviors and learning difficulties. Working with students aged 12 to 18, Turning Winds specializes in behavior modification, emotional stability, and academic achievement and has earned a reputation for excellence in all three fields.
Through an Integrated Therapeutic Curriculum, Turning Winds combines an emphasis on academic achievement with the therapeutic activities and counseling required to restore students’ recognition of their inherent self-worth. Turning Winds students often engage in outdoor activities and team-building exercises, helping them foster a sense of accountability and a desire to contribute to the greater community.
Academics at Turning Winds are equally outstanding. In addition to offering students the opportunity to obtain their GED, Turning Winds also provides preparation for the College-Level Examination Program (CLEP). Through CLEP, Turning Winds Students can earn substantial college credit by examination. Turning Winds supports students as they work at the pace best suited to their infidivudual situations; however, the skills they need to excel are never neglected.
Accredited by the Northwest Association of Accredited Schools, Turning Winds maintains an informative website at www.turningwinds.com. The Turning Winds website outlines the school’s program in detail and also contains contact information as well as success stories from former students.
