Over the years, Turning Winds Academic Institute has attracted a diverse student body from around the United States as well as from other countries. Turning Winds Academic Institute is also a relatively small institution and serves only 50 students at a time, meaning that its healing community is close-knit and focused on the individual. Turning Winds Academic Institute’s students engage in weekly group counseling, service projects, outdoor adventures, and other activities inside and outside the classroom, prompting them to apply their education and begin to cherish the contributions they are able to make to society as a whole.

Turning Winds Academic Institute is accredited by the Northwest Association of Accredited Schools. Attending a fully accredited institution is vital to the students’ ability to transfer credits and obtain the education they need to carry them into a bright future.
