About Traci L. Garceau

As CEO and Creative Director of 25 Thompson, Traci L. Garceau maintains a level of quality in her work that has garnered attention from top publications in the event planning and marketing industry. Prior to 25 Thompson, Traci Garceau owned Traci Romano Events for nine years and developed her marketing skills at Aramark Corporation where she spent seven years as a Marketing Director at the regional and national levels.

While forging a successful career in the world of exclusive event planning, Traci L. Garceau has also dedicated herself to altruistic efforts close to home. Beyond her expertise in the world of marketing, Traci Garceau has thrived as President of Fairfield Special Education Parent and Teachers Association (SEPTA) in her hometown of Fairfield, Connecticut. At SEPTA, Garceau oversees the organization’s efforts to support the special education programs of 16 area schools in various capacities. Her duties include leading fundraising efforts for programs as well as coordinating lectures and special events to raise awareness of special education issues affecting students, their families, and the community at large.

Part of Garceau’s fundraising goes toward the Fairfield SEPTA Grant Program, in which the organization sponsors projects designed to enrich the lives of special education students. On a monthly basis, Traci Garceau and her team review and approve applications according to the proposal’s creativity, impact on the classroom, adaptability, promotion of social interaction, and promotion of communication beyond the schools. Each grant has a $500 limit and must be sponsored by a current SEPTA member.

Under the Traci L. Garceau’s guidance, SEPTA focuses on providing programs for students and their families. Currently, the organization hosts weekly youth soccer instruction and matches and is a supporter of the teen-centered Neon Nights at the Fairfield YMCA. Garceau’s work with SEPTA also includes coordinating education opportunities for parents of students with special needs.
