I am an experienced and very versatile person used to working under extreme pressures in an ever changing industry. Capable of using my own initiative from my long career within the Security Installation Industry,  and having excellent communication skills, I am always looking to extend and learn new skills to be a useful and resourceful member of a good team. My working career has progressed through to Management levels.

 

Professional Experience:    

 Stemming from Hand-on Engineering experience , my career has taken me through to senior engineer, supervisory positions, into management and project management levels.

Sales in these fields come naturally to me, especiall knowing products I have installed. So I have the natural confidence to sell and advise people, ensuring a bespoke product, that will fulfill all the criteria a prospective client requires.

 

Education:  

1968 William Morris Senior High School Walthamstow London

While studying at the above school I attained 6 CSE's in the following subjects:

Maths, English, Science, History, Biology, Woodwork

 

1973 In the employ of Haden Young Ltd Euston London

City & Guilds Electrical Installation 231/B3 with Credit attained at Wandsworth College, whilst completing a Joint Industry Board (JIB) apprenticeship.

1979 In-House course Croydon College

Master Locksmiths Association (MLA). Part 1 - Basic Locksmithing.

 

Various in-house “Product Based Training” on CCTV and Access Control

 

 

Interests:  

Family of (almost) 14 grandchildren keeps me busy most of the time, but my past interests include:

Music (playing and listening), Judo, Self-defence, Walking, Fencing and Scuba Diving.
