Toni Roesch - Professional Summary: Toni Roesch is the founder and Managing Partner of Ohio Sports Plus, a facility that offers individual and group training to athletes who are interested in improving their basketball skills or their speed. Based in Dublin, Ohio, the 35,000-square-foot facility features 3 hardwood basketball courts, a speed enhancement area with a 30-yard sprint lane, and a weight training room. Toni Roesch is an experienced and dedicated trainer who draws inspiration from the success of her clients.
Toni Roesch developed her dream of Ohio Sports Plus for several years before the facility became a reality. At Ohio State University, she played on the women’s basketball team as a Point Guard and Co-Captain, and she also participated in four of the school’s Big Ten Championship teams. Roesch went on to coach several high school and college teams, earning three Coach of the Year titles. Toni Roesch has been a radio and television color commentator for several years, appearing on broadcasts for FOX Sports, ESPN, and the Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA). She also covers the Big Ten Conference, Mid-American Conference (MAC), Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC), and Ohio high school girls basketball tournaments.
Toni Roesch’s dream became a reality when she and her business partners, Eileen Feeney and Benji Lewis, transformed a warehouse into a premier athletic training facility. Toni Roesch and her staff at Ohio Sports Plus welcome trainees of all skill levels and ages, from kindergarten through college level. Some players come to Roesch for recreational purposes or to make a school team; others come to Ohio Sports Plus with the goal of college recruitment.
Ohio Sports Plus offers several basketball leagues throughout the year for boys and girls at different age levels; they are an excellent opportunity for trainees to gain competitive experience or to learn the fundamentals of the game in a realistic, fast-paced setting. Ohio Sports Plus also presents tournament opportunities for its athletes.
