He served as TVT’s Vice President of Artists and Repertoire until 1997 and helped launched the company’s hip-hop label by signing up-and-coming rapper Ja Rule.
Tom Sarig’s nearly two-decade-long career in the music industry started in the mailroom of A&M Records in New York. From there, he joined Arista Records’ Artists and Repertoire Department. At Arista, Mr. Sarig advanced from Assistant to Talent Scout.
