About Tom R. Grossman
Financial services manager Tom Grossman has dealt in overseas sales and commerce since 1992, when he began working on Goldman Sachs & Co.’s International Sales and Trading desk. Presently a Managing Partner and Founder of hedge fund administrator Union Avenue Advisors in New York City, Tom Grossman has galvanized the development of and directed several fiscal services firms over the years, including Aeneas Capital Management and SAC International Equities, LLC.
Until 1994, Tom Grossman, former founder of Aeneas Capital Management, aided some of Goldman Sachs & Co.’s largest institutional clients in diversifying their holdings into markets around the world. This early experience helped build the solid foundation Tom Grossman needed to develop a lucrative career based around global investing.
In 1994, Tom Grossman joined Kingdom Capital, where he and a team of financial experts managed the company’s international trading assets. In 1996, Tom Grossman caught the attention of SAC Capital Advisors, LLC, a private hedge fund investor based in Stamford, Connecticut, and New York City. Soon after SAC Capital Advisors, LLC hired him, Tom Grossman collaborated with Steven Cohen, SAC Capital Advisors, LLC’s founder, in establishing SAC International Equities, LLC. SAC International Equities, LLC managed SAC Capital Advisors, LLC’s speculations located outside of the United States. At SAC International Equities, Tom Grossman oversaw a nine-person team and managed a portfolio of more than $400 million.
Tom Grossman’s dedication to global trading and his successful handling of money funds eventually led him to creating Aeneas Capital Management, based in Mount Kisco, New York. With Aeneas Capital Management, Tom Grossman profitably managed the highly remunerative APC Fund. Following the liquidation of Aeneas Capital Management in 2006, Tom Grossman traded global equities as a Portfolio Manager for Ospraie Management LLC.
