About Tom Grossman
Having achieved notable success in the financial funds and trading industry as the former Managing Partner of Aeneas Capital Management, Tom Grossman actively gives back to his community by enthusiastically supporting philanthropic efforts both big and small. Since April 2009, Tom Grossman has operated as Managing Partner of Union Avenue Advisors, an investment management firm based in New York City.
Currently serving as a Vice President and a Board of Directors member of Big Brothers Big Sisters of New York City, Tom Grossman helps spearhead the mentorship of New York’s underserved youths. A graduate of Lehigh University’s College of Business and Economics, Tom Grossman has significantly contributed to the growth of his alma mater through generous donations.
Outside of his professional life and charitable pursuits, Tom Grossman is an award-winning racehorse breeder. In 2009, the United States Harness Writers Association (USHWA) acknowledged Tom Grossman’s significant accomplishments to Standardbred horse breeding with an Excelsior Award. Given by the USHWA’s Monticello-Goshen Chapter, the award particularly honored Tom Grossman’s commitment to New York’s breeding program. Owner of Blue Chip Farms in Wallkill, New York, Tom Grossman has invested more than $6 million in broodmares over the years and purchased top racing stallions like Credit Winner, Art Major, and Bettor’s Delight.
In his limited spare time, Tom Grossman enjoys reading inspiring and renowned novels by J.D. Salinger, Robertson Davies, and Franz Kafka. Tom Grossman regards The Count of Monte Cristo and Atlas Shrugged as two of his favorite books.
