Tomasz Kupisz, nicknamed ‘Ash’, is a Polish professional footballer who has the ability to play either as a striker or a winger, depending upon the need. He was born on January 2, 1990 in Radom, and he plays for the Poland Under-21 (U-21) team.
Tomasz Kupisz played for Junior Radom sports club as a youth and then joined the KS Piaseczno, a Polish football club in 2004. He switched to the Wigan Athletic Football Club on a free transfer in the summer of 2006, and in September, he made his debut for the club in the Carling Cup match against the Crewe Alexandra F.C. He was later sent to the Oldham Athletic F.C. for a month-long loan, and he made 4 substitute appearances for the club in League One.
After returning back to Wigan, Tomasz Kupisz wore the number 28 shirt. He made his debut for the club’s first-team on July 20, 2007 in a pre-season friendly against the F.C. Den Bosch, a Dutch football club, after coming on as a second-half substitute for Jason Koumas. Tomasz Kupisz played a competitive match for Wigan Athletic in the Carling Cup match against Notts County on August 26, 2008. He came on as a substitute and scored the final goal in the 90th minute to win the match 4-0.
