Tomasz Cywka is a professional football player who was born on June 27, 1988 in Gliwice, which is an industrial city in Southern Poland.
Tomasz Cywka has been a regular in Poland’s U-18 and U-19 national side and has won eighty caps in total for these two sides. He was also selected to be a part of the U-21 squad thus, making him the youngest player in Poland's history to represent the national team.
In 2006, this mid-fielder played exceptionally well for the Polish football club Gwarek Zabrze and was a part of the U-19 team that won the 2006 Polish U-19 Championship.
After an impressive two week trial at the JJB Stadium in March, Tomasz Cywka was signed by the English Premier League football club, Wigan Athletic in July 2006 on a three-year contract and was given the number 21 jersey. On August 2, 2006, Tomasz Cywka made his debut for this club in a friendly game against Southport football club. A couple of months later, he was sent on loan for a brief period to Oldham Athletic in order to gain first team experience.
During the 2006-07 season, Tomasz Cywka was a member of the squad that played in the Carling Cup match at Crewe and had a successful loan spell at League One side Oldham Athletic. This polish mid-fielder has a good pace, vision and technique and established himself as an upcoming football star.
