About Timothy Gillespie
Dr. Timothy Gillespie runs a dental practice in Asheville, North Carolina. Since 1993, he provided his community with cosmetic, restorative, and implant dentistry treatments. Before opening his office, Dr. Timothy Gillespie laid the foundations for his career at Western Carolina University where he studied chemistry. Three years after graduating with his Bachelor’s degree, Dr. Timothy Gillespie enrolled at the University of Alabama School of Dentistry and graduated in 1993.
In order to stay current in his field, Dr. Timothy Gillespie has devoted over 1,000 hours to educational courses and seminars. He also holds memberships in the American Dental Association, the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, the North Carolina Dental Society, and he is a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry and a Sustaining Member of the American Association of Cosmetic Dentistry. When he isn’t working, Dr. Timothy Gillespie enjoys giving back to his local and broader community in a variety of ways.
Dr. Timothy Gillespie has provided dental care for people who could not afford it. He has functioned as a Team Leader on mission trips that take health care professionals from the United States to Honduras for establishing free clinics. Closer to home, Dr. Timothy Gillespie has taught Bible study classes and served on the Board of Deacons at the First Baptist Church in Asheville. Dr. Timothy Gillespie has also worked on the United Way Peaks Society Steering Committee and is a former Board of Directors member of the Asheville Buncombe Community Christian Ministry’s Medical Ministry.
