Besides its extensive offering of brand-name engines for a variety of vehicle makes and models, Houston-based Thunderbolt Engines boasts the largest selection of in-stock remanufactured engines in the state of Texas. If a customer needs a product that Thunderbolt Engines does not currently have on hand, Thunderbolt Engines will remanufacture the customer's current engine or transmission and return it to him or her promptly, typically within 36 hours. In addition to its wide selection of automobile parts, Thunderbolt Engines also offers remanufactured marine engines.

The president of Thunderbolt Engines, Harry Hartley II, commits the company to efficient products and ethical business. He is a member of the board of directors of the Production Engine Rebuilders Association, an organization that establishes standards for the industry of engine remanufacturing.
