About Thomas TJ Earle
Before joining the family highway and road construction business full time as Vice President, Thomas “TJ” Earle graduated from Lynn University in Boca Raton, Florida. At the private, coeducational institution, TJ Earle fostered the development of his business acumen and marketing skills, both of which he administers every day at family-run The Earle Companies.
TJ Earle attended Lynn University’s College of Business and Management, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. While a student, TJ Earle and his approximately 2,000 undergraduate peers took advantage of Lynn University’s favorable location near Florida beaches and the school’s 123-acre sprawling, immaculate campus. TJ Earle thrived in Lynn University’s small class sizes and customized career paths.
After graduating, TJ Earle joined his brothers, Walter II and Michael, as a new generation of Earles officially took the reigns of The Earle Companies. Created in 1968 by Walter R. Earle, TJ Earle’s father, The Earle Companies originally began as Earle Asphalt Company. TJ Earle’s father built his company on sound principles and the capability to handle all aspects of road development, including grading, milling, paving, and drainage work.
Today, TJ Earle and his family have expanded The Earle Companies’ core competencies to include the flagship Earle Asphalt Company and Walter R. Earle Transit, LLC, a trucking firm. With The Earle Companies’ varied service offerings, TJ Earle and his brothers are able to provide municipalities, highway maintainers, heavy construction firms, and private and commercial businesses with high-quality paving and roadwork. Since joining The Earle Companies, TJ Earle has contributed significantly to increased company sales in the last 10 years. TJ Earle’s efforts have greatly reduced personnel turnover; led to greater, more comprehensive training programs; and fostered company unity. TJ Earle and his brothers have cultivated their father’s standard of providing exceptional road construction services in Central New Jersey, earning The Earle Companies 12 state and national awards for product quality.
