Terry Beard was born in Oregon, Illinois and as a young toddler moved with his parents to Vancouver, WA. After graduating from high school, he was drafted into the US Army and served in Augsburg, West Germany. Following military service he moved to San Francisco and earned a BS Degree in Business at the University of San Francisco. He then worked for a short time in San Francisco and subsequently moved to Portland and founded Beard Frame Shops/Frame Central Stores in 1974. In addition to East Portland Rotary, he’s actively involved in the Portland Rotary Club, and a member of the Arlington Club. Terry enjoys time with his wife Pascale, going to movies, live theater, biking, hiking, reading and drinking great red wine at Portland’s finest restaurants. Frequently, Terry and Pascale reside in Paris, France, or they are in California visiting with his two sons near the Del Mar Race Track.
