Terrance Wickman - Professional Summary:
Terrance Wickman operates as a Sustainability Coordinator and Developmental Mathematics Professor for Eastfield College in Mesquite, Texas. Prior to his teaching career, Terrance Wickman served at Veteran Affairs Medical Centers in Texas and Ohio.
While pursuing his undergraduate and graduate studies, Terrance Wickman served as a Recreation Specialist for the Department of Justice in Seagoville, Texas, from 1977 to 1978. He subsequently worked as a Recreation Therapist at the VA Medical Centers in Dallas, Texas, and Cincinnati, Ohio. From 1994 to 1997, he operated as the Service Chief-Administrator at the VA North Texas Health Care System in Dallas, Texas, prior to his career with academic institutions. In 1995, he joined Eastfield College as an Adjunct Professor in Mathematics for Algebra and Contemporary Mathematics, serving until 2009. He also aided additional faculty at Eastfield College as a part of the College of Business. In addition, from 1998 to 2006, Terrance Wickman also functioned as the Deputy Associate Chief of Staff for Education at the VA North Texas Health Care System.
While Terrance Wickman served on active duty, he operated as a Physical Activities Specialist and Assistant Operations Officer. He served on the 7th Medical Command staff in Heidelberg, Germany and in various other leadership roles for operations Desert Shield, Desert Storm and Enduring Freedom. In 2003, Terrance Wickman served as the Command Health Service Personnel Manager for the 807th Medical Command. From 2006 to 2007, he operated as Executive Officer (XO) at the Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center. Beginning in 1982 Terrance Wickman served as Aid-de Camp or as a key staff for a number of Generals to include Major General Lee Ping Chang, Major General Robert L. Wick, Jr., Major General Kenneth D. Herbst, Major General Max Baratz, Brigadier General Robert "Bob" Lennon, Brigadier General Loree Sutton, Brigadier General Frank Brown, Brigadier General JRoyston Brown, Brigadier General James A. Mobley, Brigadier General Ran Phillips, Brigadier General Daniel Dire, and Brigadier General John Donnelly. Terrance Wickman attained the rank of Full Colonel in 2006 and was honored with membership into the distinguished organization of the Military Order of Medical Merit. The Order of Military Medical Merit is a unique, private organization founded by the Commanding General of U.S. Army Health Services Command in April 1982.
