About Tagged, U.S.

Established in 2004, Tagged has risen through the ranks to become the third most popular website in the US behind social networking juggernauts Facebook and MySpace. Tagged was created specifically to help users stay connected with current friends as well as forge relationships with new ones. Using Tagged’s unique tagging feature, members are able to tag profiles and posts of interest, creating a bevy of new acquaintances while perusing the website.

With a rapidly expanding catalog of features, Tagged offers completely customizable profiles, with 21 different themes to choose from. Alternatively, Tagged allows members to create their own profile style with its profile editor. Tagged was one of the first social networking websites to utilize an innovative YouTube widget, which allows members to share their favorite videos quickly and easily. Tagged’s use of the Meebo widget makes it easy for users to instant message each other. Tagged also features private messaging and live chats to assist members in getting to know each other.

With a multitude of new features being rolled out, Tagged is committed to staying at the forefront of the social networking industry. To date, Tagged has fortified valuable partnerships with companies such as Microsoft, Zend Studio, Slide, and PhotoBucket.

Dedicated to corporate responsibility and to its more than 80,000 Tagged members living in Haiti, Tagged recently pledged to contribute one dollar per dollar spent on purchasing the site’s “Gold” to the Yele Haiti Earthquake Relief Fund between January 15, 2010 and January 19, 2010. The Tagged community raised $25,000, and Tagged generously doubled that amount. A total of $50,000 was contributed to the Yele Haiti Earthquake Relief Fund.
