About Sue Scheff
Sue Scheff - Professional Summary:
Parents Universal Resource Experts, Inc. (P.U.R.E.) is an organization I created in 2001 after going through a very difficult time with my teenage daughter. I felt there were no resources for parents that were sound and objective. P.U.R.E. helps educate parents today with the challenging issues in raising teens in today's world. The ever expanding Social Networking compounded with entitlement issues and peer pressure leaves parents at their wit's end. As a Parent Advocate, I bring an awareness to the daunting industry labeled "teen help". I made some horrible mistakes, however I have taken the darkest of times and created an organization that brings parents hope in a time of hopelessness and help at a time when they feel they are completely alone. My motto is bringing families back together as well as - learn from my mistakes, gain from my knowledge.
I have also been a victim and survivor of Internet Defamation. I won an unprecedented case with a jury verdict for damages done to me online, of over $11M. Now I have also become an activist and a public figure on helping those are also being harmed by a few keystrokes. It can take over 10 years to build a solid reputation, only to have one disgruntled client/person/customer take 10 minutes of destroys to ruin your business and/or reputation. My story has been featured on many outlets including ABC News 20/20, Nightly News with Katie Couric, Rachel Ray Show, Washington Post, San Francisco Chronicle, Miami Herald, Wall Street Journal, USA Today, Forbes and many more.
