About Steven Wengrover, M.D.
From his days as a medical student at Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University in New York City, to the opening of his private radiology practice in Newburgh, New York, Dr. Steven Wengrover has achieved much during his more than 30 years in medicine. Most recently, Dr. Steven Wengrover oversaw medical imaging operations in the Department of Radiology at White Plains Hospital Center in New York.
Possessing an undergraduate degree from State University of New York at Albany and a medical degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University, Dr. Steven Wengrover completed an internship in diagnostic radiology at New York Medical College (NYMC) in Valhalla, New York. Trained at one of the nation’s largest private health sciences colleges, Dr. Steven Wengrover performed his residency at NYMC before becoming Chief Resident at the school’s medical center in 1982.
During his successful radiology career, Dr. Steven Wengrover worked as an attending radiologist in the Newburgh Hospital Center in New York. In the past, Dr. Steven Wengrover also managed operations in the radiology departments of New York hospitals such as St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital in Cornwall and Putnam Hospital Center in Carmel. From 1989 to 2002, Dr. Steven Wengrover owned and operated his own private clinic, Advanced Medical Imaging, P.C., based in Newburgh, New York.
Brooklyn native Dr. Steven Wengrover earned his board certification from the American Board of Radiology in 1982. As a certified radiologist with the board, Dr. Steven Wengrover benefits from the regulatory organization’s high qualifying standards in the areas of diagnostic radiology, radiological physics, and radiation oncology.
