About Steven Wengrover
Brooklyn-born Dr. Steven Wengrover has spent much of his life working and training in the New York metropolitan area. Dr. Steven Wengrover attended State University of New York at Albany (SUNY-Albany) before returning to his roots in New York City to attend medical school and begin his career.
Upon earning a Bachelor of Science, Dr. Steven Wengrover enrolled at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine at Yeshiva University in New York City. At the top-rated medical institution, Dr. Steven Wengrover received a world-class education from some of the nation’s foremost clinicians, biomedical scientists, and medical educators. Dr. Steven Wengrover earned his Doctor of Medicine from the 65-year-old school and went on to complete an internship in internal medicine and diagnostic radiology at New York Medical College (NYMC) in Valhalla, considered one of the nation’s largest private health sciences universities.
Trained by a highly decorated staff of physicians, Dr. Steven Wengrover completed his residency in diagnostic radiology at NYMC before taking the position of Chief Resident of Diagnostic Radiology three years after starting his residency.
In 1983, Dr. Steven Wengrover accepted a fellowship at New York-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center. Since completing the one-year residency, Dr. Steven Wengrover has worked for Newburgh Radiology Associates, P.C., and Newburgh Hospital Center as an attending radiologist. In 1989, Dr. Steven Wengrover opened his private office, Advanced Medical Imaging, P.C., in Newburgh, New York.
Dr. Steven Wengrover is an active member of the American College of Radiology, where he joins 34,000 other radiologists, radiation oncologists, medical physicists, interventional radiologists, and nuclear medicine physicians.
