About Steven Effres
Since graduating from Loyola Law School Los Angeles with honors in 1983, Steven Effres has become a highly regarded personal injury lawyer in Southern California. Mr. Effres practices in a range of areas including wrongful death, serious personal injury, discrimination, and negligence. He has also been commended for his work in medical and dental malpractice. Steven Effres has served as an attorney at Effres & Associates for over 22 years and along with his fellow associates has reviewed and taken on thousands of cases resulting in millions of dollars in damages paid to his clients.
Steven Effres and his team believe in treating their clients with respect and care, which means providing prompt service and a detailed explanation of the legal process. Because each personal injury case requires sensitive representation, Mr. Effres reflects that sensitivity in the courtroom. In addition, he understands that each client’s case is different and therefore will recommend a course of legal action that seeks both fairness and justice. Along with his associates, Steven Effres offers contingency fee arrangements for litigation in personal injury and wrongful death cases, which comes from proceeds at the end of a case.
As a trial lawyer, Steven Effres has been honored and commended on numerous occasions. The Association of Trial Lawyers of America recognized him for his courtroom efforts in cases of medical malpractice, wrongful death, and product negligence. The influential scope and character of his work earned him a spotlight in O’Brien’s Verdictum Juris, and he has received the Martindale-Hubbell AV Preeminent rating for achieving professional excellence and ethics as an attorney. Steven Effres is a founder of Lawyers for Social Responsibility and a member of Trial Lawyers for Public Justice, Trial Lawyers Charities, and the Outstanding Lawyers of America.
