Steve Gallanter

Possessing extensive experience in the hospitality industry in the Boston, Massachusetts, area, Steve Gallanter has served as a bartender at venues such as the original Ritz-Carlton. After receiving his Bar Code certification in 1998, Mr. Gallanter entered Boston’s beverage service industry.

 

He subsequently worked at the famed Fenway Park. In addition, Steve Gallanter served as a bartender at the nightclub Europa. Between 2007 and 2009, Mr. Gallanter joined the service teams at Red Fez and News Boston, where he gained experience at bars that played Brazilian, Eurohaus, rock, Latin, hip-hop, and reggae music. Possessing ambidextrous pouring skills, he once brought in over $2,800 in a single shift. Consistently adhering to alcohol-serving protocol, Steve Gallanter has provided world-class service to Boston’s bar patrons.

Possessing diverse experience in the food and beverage industry, Steve Gallanter has provided superior table service, informed guests of daily specials, uncorked champagne and wine, and shucked shellfish. Actively involved in the restaurant industry, Mr. Gallanter earned cardio-pulmonary resuscitation and Heimlich maneuver certification. In 2011, he was trained by the Massachusetts Department of Fire Safety in crowd management. Steve Gallanter has also regularly used information technology programs such as MICROS Systems, Inc., POSitouch, RPower Restaurant POS Software, Execu/Tech Hotel Property Management, and Microsoft Excel. Additionally, Steve Gallanter draws on his experience in both promotions and marketing. As a beverage purchasing agent, he coordinated promotions at various bars, decorated venues for events, and collected guest information to distribute promotional updates.

At present, Steve Gallanter serves as an occasional Night Auditor/Front Desk Agent at the Charlesmark at Copley Hotel in Boston, Massachusetts, where he applies his skills in front desk service. In this role, Mr. Gallanter suggests tourism destinations, assists challenged guests, and provides personal care items.

As an avid baseball fan, Mr. Gallanter regularly contributes to an online forum, Baseball-Fever.com. In his leisure time, he also enjoys weight lifting, riding his bicycle, and visiting museums.
