Spencer Lawrence is a professional poker player, who was born in Wimbledon, England but currently lives in London. Lawrence made his first appearance at a poker tournament in September 2005 in the Late Night Poker Ace Series 1, Cardiff in Wales. There he finished at 7th place and took a prize of $2.000. His next appearance was in August 2006 in the Second Chance Bounty Invitational, Las Vegas – No-Limit Hold’em where he achieved his first win. He took the 1st place and a check for $50.000. On December 2, 2008, Spencer Lawrence took part in the Caribbean Poker Classic, St. Kitts - $1.000 No-Limit Hold’em, where he placed 7th and became richer with $3.150.

2008 is one of the most successful years for Spencer Lawrence. In April he participated in Nottingham Event, England where his total winnings were $3.713. In June was his first appearance in the World Series of Poker. He finished at 2nd place in the 39th Annual WSOP – Omaha Hi-Low Split – 8 or better ($1.500 buy-in) and went home with $156.344. In a different event from the WSOP – World Championship Limit Hold’em Event 30 - $10.000 buy-in he was 22nd and won $20.492. The next month Spencer Lawrence took a part in the 39th WSOP again, but this time in the Limit Hold’em Shootout Event 53 - $1.500 buy-in where he finished in 6th place and won $20.221. His total tournament winnings exceed $253.919, and he is ranked 225th by 2008 POY and 504th by Bluff-ESPN Power. His total points are 711.31. He had 4 final tables and 6 money finishes
