Simon Reeks

Simon began his working career in 1993 with Gall & Eke Stockbrokers in Personal Equity Plan administration.

 

After completing the Securities and Futures Authority (SFA) examinations he became an equities dealer trading for clients on the LSE´s Official List, AIM and Ofex markets.

 

In 1998 Simon moved to Toronto Dominion Bank in the same role before moving to Galleon Assets Mangement Limited in 2000 as head of dealing. Simon was responsible for the day-to-day evaluation of clients positions and contacting them if any decision needed to be taken. He was also involved in raising money for smaller companies looking to float on AIM and Ofex due to Galleon’s NOMAD status.

 

When Galleon was sold to Abinger in 2001, Simon moved to Midas Investment Management Limited where he was head of equities until August 2006.

 

He then became a founder/director of Solution Mortgages Limited which specialises in impaired credit mortgages/remortgages, commercial finance, equity release and secured loans.
