Siddharth Trivedi, an Indian cricketer, was born on September 4, 1982 in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. He is a right-handed batsman and is a world-class maverick right-arm medium pace bowler.


His bowling at a medium pace earned him an opportunity to represent India at the International Cricket Council (ICC) Under-19 Cricket World Cup in 2002, in which he picked up nine wickets in seven games. Siddharth Trivedi made his First-class debut in the 2002-2003season and this promising cricketer won the Border-Gavaskar Scholarship to train for five weeks at the Commonwealth Bank Cricket Academy in Australia. Following his return to India, he earned a place into the ranks of India B to play at the 2003 Challenger Trophy. Siddharth Trivedi has played 357 First-class matches and has taken 161 wickets off 8697 balls.


Siddharth Trivedi played his first List A match during the 2002-03 season and represented West Zone in Duleep Trophy and Gujarat in Ranji Trophy. He has played twenty seven List A matches, picking up 58 wickets off 2178 balls. His first Twenty20 (T20) match was against Mumbai, which was held on April 4, 2007 and from the seven domestic T20 matches, Siddharth Trivedi hauled six wickets.

Siddharth Trivedi gave a string of stunning feats at the 2008 Indian Premier League (IPL) when he played for Rajasthan Royals. In a match against Mumbai Indians, he bowled a decisive spell, which included the wickets of prominent players like Sachin Tendulkar and Sanath Jayasuriya and helped Rajasthan Royals win that match. He went on to play 15 matches, picking up 13 wickets and became fans favorite. Siddharth Trivedi was also a part of the team that won the 2008 IPL trophy.
