After receiving her Doctor of Medicine in 1990, Shulamit Glaubach enrolled in an internal medicine training program at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) Mount Zion Medical Center.

Shulamit Glaubach, MD, completed a psychiatry residency at Yale University prior to undertaking fellowship work in child and adolescent psychiatry at Cornell University’s Payne Whitney Clinic. She finished her medical studies in 1996 with a forensic psychiatry fellowship at New York University (NYU). Throughout her years of postdoctoral studies, Shulamit Glaubach, MD, also served as a visiting lecturer on health-related issues with Personal-Touch Home Care, Inc., in Jamaica, New York. From 1998 to 2005, she maintained a private psychiatric practice in Seattle, Washington, additionally holding responsibilities for one-year periods as a psychiatrist with the Seattle Children’s Home and the Catholic Community Services of Western Washington.

Shulamit Glaubach, MD, has significant research experience, including studies on the effects of psychological stress on the immune system, undertaken at the University Hospital for Children and Youth in Utrecht, Netherlands, in 1989. She authored “Positive Mind Over Negative Matter” for publication in the 2002 American Breast Cancer Guide and “Developmental Factors of Violence” as a chapter in the book Medical Management of the Violent Patient.

Dr. Glaubach has done volunteer work in the Long Island Jewish Medical Center’s pediatric ward, in addition to serving as a counselor at a camp for children with cancer. A former member of the Seattle Forensic Institute, she maintains longtime affiliation with the American Psychiatric Association and the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
