About Shubhra Sinha, Managing Director, Marketing Globalisation for Cisco
A senior marketing executive with vast international experience, Shubhra Sinha is the Managing Director, Marketing Globalisation for Cisco. Reporting to the Chief Marketing officer, she leads Cisco’s effort for globalisation of its world-wide marketing strategy, driving all marketing efforts for Cisco’s Globalisation initiatives including Smart+Connected Communities. Shubhra also leads the strategy to streamline global CMO functions which can be delivered from India and Emerging Markets. Her efforts have led to a scalable and efficient marketing services ecosystem and centers of excellence across multiple marketing functions from market research and publishing to demand generation and marketing operations, driving high quality with at least a 33% savings to Cisco Marketing Services spend.
Shubhra is an IT industry veteran with over 22 years leading global Solution Marketing, Professional Services and Business Development organizations at major global brands. She is passionate about driving business value at organizations through enterprise software solutions and effortlessly bridges the business and technology divide. This has been the philosophy at the core of her career choices and unites all of her experience. At HP, she led the world-wide Services Oriented Architecture Solution Marketing organization. At Mercury Interactive, she built the company’s presence in the IT Service Management space from being a non-player to a significant provider helping drive Mercury’s IT Service Management sales from zero to $40 million in one year. She started her professional journey in the US with Deloitte Consulting, and earlier in India leading business development at CMC Limited. She also used her passion for creativity and visionary skills at several Bay-area enterprise software start-ups.
An accomplished public speaker, Shubhra delivers high-energy keynotes about marketing innovation, women and leadership and building and leading diverse teams. She is the executive sponsor for the Cisco Connected Women forum for Asia-Pacific. She is a certified professional in a number of SAP modules and IT Service Management. Shubhra has an MBA in International Marketing and a Bachelor of Science in Physics from Lucknow University.
Shubhra is a professional Indian classical dancer and enjoys reading, music, traveling and tennis. A US Citizen, Shubhra is currently based in Bangalore, India, expanding her international expertise and spending quality time with her parents.
