As a market builder and branding professional, Shireen Piramoon has both advised and created a number of communications and technology-based enterprises. She began her career in the early 1990s as co-founder of EMG Inc., a marketing company that created corporate stores for such clients as HP, ClubOne, and Google. After nine years as vice president of the company, Shireen Piramoon led worldwide public relations through the restructure of Critical Path, Inc., a provider of communications, messaging, and security services for a global clientele.
In 2003, Shireen Piramoon co-founded JetEye Technologies, a social bookmarking company, for which she facilitated all key hires and established its operational structure, corporate governance, and intellectual property agreements. Ms. Piramoon then went on to establish the social media practice for McGrath/Power Public Relations and subsequently co-founded TumbleCloud, LLC. As the CEO of this multimedia library platform, she assumed responsibility for creating revenue models for customers, as well as business development strategies for the company itself. Also experienced as the managing director of IncrediBull, a London communications agency that she effectively rebranded, Ms. Piramoon is now strategic advisor to start-up companies.
