-          Assistant Producer

 

Tasks: Arranging for the Doha Debates program. This program is a part of the Qatar Foundation and being broadcasted on BBC. www.thedohadebates.com. I used to contact all staff needed for each debate from camera men to audio and light specialists. One of my tasks was contacting all travel agencies and hotels to make all bookings needed for each trip to Qatar. Plus running the office in Beirut and taking care of all office matters plus paper work and correspondence.

 

-          TV program writer 

On 2006, and before FIFA World Cup, I wrote a sports program quiz for FUTURE TV – Beirut.

I was also assistant and executive producer for this program. This program was a short biography about famous players, accompanied with a question at the end of each episode.

-          Sports Editor & Re-searcher 

Tasks: covering and updating all daily sports news using CMS program. Special coverage for the Spanish League, Italian League, Argentinean League, Portuguese League and the Qatari league between 2006 – 2007, and Turkish league, French league, Scottish league and Dutch league on 2008. Covering all Formula One news.

I was more specialised in Italian league: Gathering all info and news about clubs and players plus the history of Calcio and updating news and transfers in clubs.

-          Doha Open 2007: Women Tennis Tournament. Live coverage from the field. Attending and covering all press conferences. Interviewing top seeded players like Justin Henin, world number one then.

-          Beijing (Pekin) Olympic Games 2008:  Re-searcher for Beijing 2008 sub site. Re-searching Countries Olympic history and notable players. Special Coverage and features. Live news and updated results at once.  

-          Sonny Ericsson Doha 2008: Women Tennis tournament. Live coverage for games from the field. Covering press conferences and interviewing notable players like Venus Williams and Elena Dementieva.

I was the one who started this service at the Jazeera sport channels since November 2008. It is

the Electronic Program Guide, I have created the form of the data to be entered to programs’ info. I used to do it on daily basis and to six channels.
