Sheldon Krieger - Professional Summary: 

 

A finance professional with myriad interests, Sheldon Krieger began his career after receiving a college education in the sciences. As an undergraduate student at Ohio University in Athens, Ohio, Sheldon Krieger majored in Biology,with a minor in chemistry, and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1964. Upon graduation from Ohio University, Sheldon Krieger spent a year pursuing advanced coursework in microbiology at the University of Cincinnati. At the end of this period, Sheldon Krieger left academia to cultivate his burgeoning interest in finance and investment banking. For the first nine years of his career, Sheldon Krieger held roles as an Equity Salesman at Merrill Lynch and, later, as a High-Yield Bond Salesman at Bear Stearns. Recognizing his superlative performance as a top producer at each of these investment firms, Lehman Brothers recruited Sheldon Krieger to serve as Co-Head of its High-Yield Department in 1978. An effective, results-oriented trader, Sheldon Krieger worked with numerous government and financial institutions as an advisor and helped ensure substantial returns on investments. Sheldon Krieger left Lehman Brothers to found RFSG Group in 1982. Drawing from proprietary methods of quantitative analysis, Sheldon Krieger assisted clients of RFSG in their efforts to outperform bond indexes. After the sale of Ryan Financial Strategy Group in 1988, Sheldon Krieger became President of Lake Capital, where he would spend the next 12 years working within the realm of corporate restructuring, corporate finance, and leveraged buyouts. Over the past decade, Sheldon Krieger has spent time as a private investor, served the GPHF-LP hedge fund as President, and reunited with a previous partner to perform various duties as Asset Management Strategist at a newly formed Asset/Liability Management Firm. Today, Sheldon Krieger is Director at Krieger Family Partners in Jupiter, Florida, where he dedicates his practice to investments and real estate.
