In February 2008, Stockport signed him on a two-month loan and gave him the opportunity to play six games during his short stint. He returned to Manchester City on April 20, 2008.
Shaleum Logan is considered as a player of the likes of other Manchester City youth products, including Daniel Sturridge, Micah Richards, Stephen Ireland, and Nedum Onuoha. The team’s manager Sven-Goran Eriksson said in an interview that this young defender had made him proud.
Shaleum Logan, apart from playing football, has also sponsored Football Association’s (FA) Youth Player Campaign, an initiative to help young players develop their fitness and come through the youth teams of different clubs. An accomplished guitarist, Shaleum had hoped to release a guitar CD as a child.
