About Scott Pyle

Scott Pyle Myrtle Beach- Professional Summary:     Scott Pyle and his wife, Pamela, have spearheaded real estate development in several areas across the Southeastern United States since initiating ABD Development, Inc., in 1996. With operations based out of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, one of Scott Pyle’s firm’s largest projects has been the creation of the Black Creek Plantation community near Carolina Forest. Currently boasting approximately 27 homes, the gated community is full of wetlands and natural woods, with plots ranging from 1 to 10 acres. After laying the foundation for the community, Scott Pyle and his team, turned over the development to individual owners and small groups of local investors.  In addition to the residential, Scott Pyle and his team turned the commercial development over to a local investment group for commercial use.

The first success for Pyle and ABD Development was Cypress Keyes in Murrells Inlet, SC and soon their after the International Club, a complete neighborhood with homes ranging from $125,000 to the mid-$300,000s. Due to the current tumult in the real estate market, Scott Pyle has collaborated with various groups across the country to purchase non-performing assets, such as bank notes and distressed loans. In addition to his work with ABD Development, Pyle also serves the Southeast Real Estate Asset Fund as an Asset Allocation Manager.  This group has just purchased a development in Conway, SC which was in financial default.  This development known as Midtown has been sitting dormant for almost two years since the original developer went into default.  Scott Pyle and his group will finish the current homes and town-homes which are finished or partially finished and are currently negotiating with local and national builders to finish out the remainder of the project.

When Pamela and Scott Pyle started ABD Development, one of their long-term goals was to build wealth to support Christian ministries and other religious initiatives. The success of the enterprise has afforded Scott Pyle the opportunity to volunteer regularly with Market Life Ministries; he operated as the Chairman for four years and continues to contribute as a member of the board. In addition, Pyle leads a weekly Myrtle Beach Bible study that is regularly attended by more than 100 men. The Pyles also partner with Africa New Life Ministries.  They are currently in the process of providing a water treatment system for over 4000 men in the village of Kageyo, Rwanda.

Aside from his work in real estate, Scott Pyle leverages nearly two decades of experience in financial services, including positions with Merrill Lynch and Morgan Stanley Private Wealth Management. Pyle holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Sam Houston State University, where he belonged to the Sigma Chi Fraternity.
