About Scott Livanec
Scott Livanec commenced his career in human capital management as an employee of The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. After working for three years there and gaining extensive knowledge of employment and recruiting issues for the academic institution, he advanced his studies at Tulane University's Freeman School of Business, gaining an M.B.A. in Finance and International Management. Livanec applied his graduate studies at PricewaterhouseCoopers, the consulting organization known today as IBM Business Consulting Services. During his advance to principal consultant and project leadership roles, Livanec transformed human resources programs and integrated new technologies for a number of major companies. Scott Livanec's strong analytical skills have helped him build close working relationships with clients, and as a result, his clients have been able to implement structural and system solutions to help them achieve competitive advantages and significantly improve their financial performances.
At a global banking and financial services company, ING North America Insurance Corporation, Scott Livanec led a team in performing diagnostics for human resources, coming up with appropriate technology solutions and reviewing and reengineering around 65 processes in order to accelerate outcomes for the organization. Livanec's team introduced and implemented PeopleSoft employee and manager self-service solutions from the Oracle Corporation for a workforce encompassing 10,000 U.S.-based employees. Scott Livanec has also worked with ABN AMRO Bank N.V. as a lead and subject matter expert on the Regional Service Center Team. He has assisted this client and many others with domestic and global transformation program workshops, as well as Service Center Integration and Global Human Resources policies and practices work. As an expert in HR application management, he helped introduce and implement world class SAP and PeopleSoft/Oracle enabled process design to clients in the financial services, entertainment, and consumer products industries.
Currently, Scott Livanec has returned to The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston to utilize his technical expertise and team leadership skills as Director of Workforce Technology and Analytics. He continues to introduce advances in human capital technology, as well as new processes for human resources to improve analytics and business performance, for the academic health care organization. Livanec also serves as Financial Manager for Human Resources, a position responsible for the budgeting and oversight of all monetary concerns for the department. In addition to his M.B.A., Scott Livanec possesses an undergraduate degree in economics from The University of the South.
