In addition to decades of engineering, consulting, and executive experience, Scott Heefner has a proven track record of leading project teams and exceeding client expectations. Scott Heefner’s recent experience includes working at TASC as vice president, where he leads several key initiatives and manages client accounts.
Prior to his work with TASC, Heefner held leadership positions with companies such as Booz Allen Hamilton, Law Environmental, and Project Time and Cost. He earned his bachelor of civil engineering degree at the Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Tech), where he was as a member of the Tau Kappa Epsilon fraternity and the rugby club. He went on to complete his master’s degree in civil engineering at Utah State University, where he worked on flood hazard projects as part of his master’s thesis.
In his spare time, Heefner enjoys creative pursuits such as painting, sketching, and gardening. He also likes to go fishing and golfing. His charitable interests include the American Cancer Society and the Alzheimers Association. Additionally, he serves as a Trustee for the Lake Ridge Baptist Church.
