With a network of International Centers of Excellence around the world, Satori World Medical connects clients with high-quality, lower-cost medical care. Satori World Medical coordinates all travel and care for patients and works with plan sponsors and employers to pass on significant cost savings to all stakeholders. Satori World Medical offers a wide range of plans and programs, ensuring that all clients can find the right program for their particular health plan needs and goals.
From the first interaction, Satori World Medical employees work to make each client comfortable, fulfilling needs and answering questions. Patients can call or register online, after which Satori’s Travel Care Coordinators and Nurse Patient Advocates step in to coordinate every detail of travel and treatment. After patients complete a medical history, Satori World Medical handles the transfer of records, confirms insurance company approval, and helps the patient select an appropriate hospital and physician for the procedure. A Travel Care Coordinator then makes all necessary arrangements, including flights, ground transportation, and hotel reservations for the patient and a companion. Satori World Medical Nurse Patient Advocates also schedule a follow-up visit with each patient’s U.S.-based physician before the patient even leaves the United States.
Upon arriving at their destinations, patients are met by local concierge hosts arranged by Satori World Medical. The concierge host escorts the patient and the patient’s companion through immigrations and customs and gets them settled in at their hotel to rest. In the morning, the concierge host returns, this time to take the patients to the hospital for their initial visit to the surgeon and pre-operative preparations.
The following day, the patient and concierge return to the hospital for surgery, after which the patient’s companion may stay in special guest accommodations at the hospital or return to the hotel. After the procedure and any necessary in-hospital recovery time, the concierge host arranges transportation back to the hotel to complete recovery before the trip home. Upon their return to the United States, Satori patients attend the pre-arranged follow-up appointment with their own doctor.
