About Sarah Marks
Hi. My name is Sarah and thank you for visiting. Just out of high school I decided to follow in my grandfather's footsteps and serve our country through the military. So in 1992 I joined the Texas Army National Guard where I served 11 years. In 1997 I was honored by being deployed to Bosnia and served 9 months in Operation Joint Guard during the election period. Currently I am enrolled at Virginia College studying accounting. I will be graduating with my bachelor's in about a year. I am considering transferring to A&M at Texarkana for graduate school.
On the outside I love fishing, boating, scuba diving, and traveling. Upon my return from my deployment I decidd to fulfill a lifelong dream and took scuba diving lessions. I have been diving in Cozumel and the Caribbean. I hope someday I will have the privilege of diving in South Africa and Australia. As you can tell I enjoy traveling. I enjoy the wonderful experience of different foods, cultures, and customs.
I also own a candle business, Candles and Some. Ok so why did I get started in the candle business. Simple. I love candles. Since I was a child I would always go to candle section. I had to smell every candle they had. When I found this Pennsylvania based company I knew I had a winner. When I saw the website for the first time I saw all of the opportunities and the flexibility offered. With my schedule I have to have flexibility! You can earn an income from direct sales, fundraisers, and residual income. When I received my first candle I knew I had a winner. Why? Because they smelled so wonderful and have such a high quality I knew this was going to be something I was going to be proud to sell?
